DESTINATION:
ECONOMIC GROWTH
When the Wyoming legislature had the forethought to allow OTB to support horse breeding, racing, and training, they created a unique opportunity for the state to diversify its economy through the racing industry.
While racetracks are closing around the country, Wyoming racing is poised to take the next step in its evolution and bring the intent of the legislation passed in 2012 to fruition.
VISION MAP
There is a much bigger vision that includes numerous amenities and outdoor activities. This future expansion will increase quality of life to residents in the area while providing additional revenue & employment.
Site Plan
Thunder Plains Park will be located off the Hillsdale exit, approximately 10 miles east of Cheyenne. The initial phase of development shall include construction of the first full-sized racecourse in Wyoming.
